Arsenal are leading the race to sign Liverpool target

Arsenal is said to be keen on Ghanaian medium Mohammed Kudus who cost £83M and is reportedly sought by Liverpool too. He has been simply spectacular, also demonstrating the ability to play as a midfielder and then attacker. Liverpool perceives him as a long-term alternative to Salah in case the Egyptian is to leave. Arsenal believes that Kudus would be the perfect signing for their team: creative, goal-scoring ability, and flexible and versatile. Yet, it seems there would be stiff competition for Arsenal to land him.

Arsenal appears to be eyeing the £83m midfielder Mohammed Kudus who has caught many eyes playing for West Ham United and Ghana. Since Kudus can easily play as a central midfielder, winger, or attacking playmaker, Mikel Arteta finds him greatly attractive. Scoring as well as creating chances, his skills add so much weight to the play that they contribute well to Arsenal’s attacking philosophy. However, Liverpool is also interested in Kudus as it is believed that they would want him to fill Mohamed Salah soon; hence the whole development has again turned to be a fierce competition for Mikel Arteta.

Rise of Kudus

With his technical capability, close ball control, and physicality, he has solidified himself as the best and his market value has increased even more. The interest from Arsenal means that the team seeks to enhance their midfield depth, especially with ongoing injuries and fixture congestion.

The Liverpool Factor

Liverpool’s interest in Kudus will raise more questions, especially for Arsenal. Its manager, Jurgen Klopp, is reportedly gearing up for life after Salah. He believes that Kudus can add to his arsenal as a player who thrives on this kind of an attacking system. Arsenal has to put more into the table than just the financial package and the pathway that clearly shows him starting regularly.
Arsenal Transfer Vision

For Arsenal, Kudus is an investment in quality and is a long-term asset. As always, he will add yet another creative dimension to the already powerful midfield containing Declan Rice, Martin Ødegaard, and Kai Havertz. Still, with the stiff competition in the Premier League and the hefty price attached, Arsenal should make their decision fast and decisive before it misses this train with one of the most exciting prospects in Europe. As per Echo, if Liverpool can trigger the release clause of Kudus, then only the hammers will let him go.
