India and South Africa faced each other in 3 match ODI series. The hosts comfortably won the series by 2-1. They will go into the t20 world cup with winning momentum but this is the not case with the visitors. They were handed over defeat in both series. Indian team is hailed as the youngsters have played well and the future looks bright. The Indian team was led by Shikhar Dhawan. Among all players, Kuldeep Yadav shined a lot. His bowling skills were praised and R Ashwin applauded him and considered him one of the best wrist spinners.

Kuldeep’s Performance in the series

Kuldeep used to be India’s regular member. But poor form made him unavailable and he was out of the team for a long time. Kuldeep also suffered from a hand injury and a knee injury. He plays ODI more. In recent series against South Africa, he bagged the man of the match too. He bowled a brilliant spell and took 4 wickets in the series decider.

Kuldeep Yadav’s statement:

I have worked on my rhythm since returning back from my injury. That is why I could get the pace which I was earlier generating from my hand. So right now, I am not compromising on spin. I am getting good turn.

On asked about his views on his participation in the 50-over world cup next year he replied,

The World Cup is far away. I am not thinking about it. I have become very practical now with things. I focus on the series I play. I have become experienced now, so I have an idea how to bowl. My aim is to perform well in every series.”

Ravi Ashwin also praised him in his youtube video. He said Kuldeep is one the best wrist spinners India has. He can aim at any place and can bowl. Having been capable of spinning the bowl on both sides, he can create dot balls too. Kuldeep is now getting a good number of matches. The more he will play the more he will become experienced.
