We have seen him as a capable forward in all positions up front. But he still continues to struggle in Spain. Even after having some of the world’s best players to support him. It’s just not working for him at the moment.
Kylian Mbappe or Vinicius Junior?
Manager Carlo Ancelotti may have to make a difficult choice very soon. The 25-year-old World Cup winner feels he would be better on the left-flank. But the Brazilian is already performing well on that side. So Ancelotti will have to find a way to inculcate both of them in the starting XI. At the same time, he will have to get the best out of them too. The latter has proven to be quite challenging so far. Some reports are surfacing on social media suggesting that Real Madrid will build around Kylian Mbappe over Vinicius Junior. It may come as a surprise for many fans to be fair. Especially given the form the Brazilian has been this season.

The 25-year-old is not at all living up to his world-class status. He will have to get his act together soon. Especially after the lofty standards he has set for himself. As per transfermarkt, he had 364 G/A in 308 appearances for PSG. Meanwhile, he has managed to secure 10 G/A in 15 games for Real Madrid. Los Blancos are suffering the effects of the same. They lost the El Clasico to Barcelona at home. Just recently, they also threw the game away against AC Milan in the UCL. Kylian Mbappe will have to adapt and build some chemistry with Vinicius Junior. The duo have enough potential to be deadly and break down all defenses in the world. As per football-espana, Ancelotti backs the Frenchman to succeed in his current role. At the same time, he believes that their poor results are due to defensive errors and not attacking issues.
