Chelsea are looking for a double move for midfield moves in the summer. They are aiming for a double move for Joshua Kimmich and Lamine Camara.
They have spent almost over a €1.2 billion on new signings in the recent years. In spite of that, they’re reportedly expected to very busy in the coming transfer window once again. As per two reports by TBRFootball, the club will be heavily involved in the summer market.
The west London side’s form in the recent weeks has been below par. The fans also have been questioning things at the club. They were expected to fight for the Premier League title this season in the beginning. But they have failed to hold to their great performances. Injuries to few key players also has been one of the reasons of their struggle. Currently they sit of the fifth place in the league table. They are now battling for a spot in UEFA Champions League for next campaign.
At the moment, adding more depth in their midfield looks to be the priority for Enzo Maresca. Although, their goalkeepers are also facing criticism from the fans due to their poor performances recently. Robert Sanchez and Filip Jorgensen are seen struggling between the sticks, after they were seen making few costly mistakes for the Blues.
Lamine Camara & Joshua Kimmich on Chelsea’s radar
According to TBRFootball, the west London side have got the opportunity to sign Kimmich on a free transfer. His contract at Bayern Munich expires in July this year. The Bundesliga giants were willing to extend his contract but the German rejected their offer. He wasn’t happy with their wage offer. That has led to interest from top teams like Arsenal and Liverpool in the player. As per previous reports by CaughtOffside, many Premier League sides are tracking his movements in Germany.
With the Germany international, the Blues are also interested in the 21-year-old talent from Monaco. Camara has been getting attention from various big clubs from England. Rumours have that teams like Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur are also keeping tabs on the youngster.
Signing Kimmich and Camara may raise questions on the Chelsea board as their squad is already filled with midfielders. Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez have been the main stars in the centre of the field for Enzo Maresca. While Romeo Lavia giving stand-in performances when fully fit.
Keirnan Dewsbury-Hall was signed last summer, but he could leave in this summer. They have plenty of options in the midfield with several loanees returning back to the club. The likes of Andrey Santos, Lesley Ugochukwu and Carney Chukwuemeka set to return after loan spells at the end of the campaign.
Romano makes new Chelsea revelation
Football journalist and transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano has revealed new transfer news regarding the Blues. He has made a revelation that will surely excite the club’s fans about the new signing.
The Italian has confirmed that the Premier League side have already agreed on move for Denner Evangelista from Corinthians. The 17-year-old will be playing at the Stamford Bridge team from 2026.
Romano on his YouTube channel said: “One of my sources tells me that in Brazil they believe this player is worth way more than €10m plus €4m in bonuses, but Chelsea arrived at the right moment and were able to negotiate with Corinthians.”
The journalist had previously highlighted the terms of the transfer. He said: “Chelsea’s next signing is done. He’s a talent for 2026. He’ll arrive next year when he turns 18. It’s Denner Evangelista.”

Adding Kimmich and Camara to the already packed squad will be a huge task for Chelsea. With several loanees returning back to the club at the end of the season, Maresca will have a huge task to manage all these players at once.
