Leicester Tottenham, Six Sports

It will be a hard watch for Leicester fans to yet again see their team slip out of the Top 4 just at the time when it matters the most. While on the other hand, Spurs fans will be hoping to at least get a place in any European competition.

Leicester City had held the spot for almost 242 days of the season, which no other team did who currently sits in the Top 4 of the Premier League table. The Foxes are currently sitting 5th in the Premier League table with just goal difference separating the 4th spot.

Leicester, who are currently on a disappointing run having secured only two wins in their last 5 fixtures. However, Brendan Rodgers’s side will look to finish their season with a win in their bag and will be boosted up to get in the Top 4 again hoping for some help from the other teams.

On the other side of the turf is Spurs, who are currently holding on to the 7th spot in the Premier League table have had a disappointing season so far. Their recent form is what has been the story of their season. The Lilywhites have just two wins and have lost three in their last 5 matches. Spurs will be hoping the other results fall their way and eager to end their season with a win and eventually securing a place in the Europa League for the next season.

It will be interesting to see who comes out at the top in this match as both eyeing to qualify for different European competitions. One doesn’t want to face the same disappointment yet again by slipping out of the top 4 and the other would be happy to consolidate their season by qualifying for the Europa League.

Leicester City will be missing the service of  James Justin, Harvey Barnes, and Cengiz Under. Joining the list would be the former Manchester United centre-back Jonny Evans, who has been ruled out due to a troublesome foot issue.

While for Spurs, They will yet again be without the service of Ben Davies, who misses out due to a calf problem. Japhet Tanganga, who picked up a leg injury in the last match against Aston Villa is also expected to miss out in this match.

Leicester City probable starting lineup: Schmeichel; Castagne, Fofana, Soyuncu; Pereira, Ndidi, Tielemans, Thomas; Maddison; Iheanacho, Vardy.

Tottenham Hotspur probable starting lineup: Lloris; Doherty, Alderweireld, Dier, Reguilon; Lo Celso, Hojbjerg; Bale, Alli, Son; Kane.

Leicester City 3-1 Tottenham Hotspur

Looking at the stakes and home advantage we predict Leicester to win it quite comfortably with yet another disappointing end to the season for the Spurs.
