Kasper Schmeichel

Schmeichel made 2 brilliant saves as he stopped two spot-kicks. He made a stop in the lower corner as well in the first half however was unlucky to concede a goal. Should have had a clean sheet.

Justin faced Wilfred Zaha who always has a trick up his sleeve. And most of the game did well to keep Zaha at bay even though he did get the better of him a couple of times. He went forward to support the attack but had no output.

Daniel Amartey

Amartey has been a constant for Leicester City for some time now. He was calm, composed, and focused and kept his cool throughout the match.

Caglar Soyuncu

Soyunco has upped his performance ever since his place in the squad was being threatened. He continued this form in this game as well. He was good at reading the game and made some good tackles.

Luke Thomas

He kept the ball moving forward a couple of times but lost possession more often than not. A very ordinary performance.

Papy Mendy

Mendy has been finding some form recently and is progressing with the ball effortlessly. He was excellent in the first half however was a bit quiet in the second. However, he did make a lot of passes and played well.

James Maddison

There was a couple of good runs by Maddison which gave no end product. He had a pretty average game by his standards.

Youri Tielemans

Looked uncomfortable on the ball from the minute the game started. He was slow to move the ball and lost possession and conceded a penalty. He did make some good touches in the lead-up of a goal.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

Played an excellent match and was in control of the ball the whole time. The academy graduate scored the winning goal and inspired the team heavily.

Ademola Lookman

He is usually good in his games however was a tad bit too slow in the game. Provided some decent support to Thomas early on and made an excellent play for the first goal. However, he was absent in the second half.

Patson Daka

Was quite the entire game and evidently has a problem as the lone striker. He lost possession a lot but did help in the lead-up to Drewsburry’s goal.

Could not utilize his pace against the tired defense. Was pretty average in his short time.

Tried muscling his way into the game, however, was unable to do so and lost possession.
