After the pre season game against Arsenal, new Manchester United defender Lenny Yoro got injured and he was withdrawn from the pitch.
What really happened?
According to Daily mail, the new Manchester United player Lenny Yoro suffered an injury in left foot. This incident happened when he tried to tackle Gabriel Jesus in the penalty box.
Although Manchester United lost the game against Arsenal in SoFi stadium at Los Angeles, all the fans loved Yoro’s defensive performance. The young defender played his debut game against Rangers FC at the Murrayfield.
The game against Arsenal was his second pre season match. After the match Lenny Yoro was lumping with crutches and protective boots. The fans were scared by seeing his situation. Later he joined the pre season training with his protective boots but he didn’t trained with them.
Manchester United without Lenny Yoro
In the upcoming season, Manchester United will begin their campaign with Community Shield cup final against the arch rivals Manchester City. On top of that, they will face Fulham in the opening match of English Premier League.
The absence of Lenny Yoro will cause a massive problem in United’s backline. Erik Ten Hag will rely on Harry Maguire and Lisandro Martinez. Although the latter one is a world class defender but United fan do not trust Harry Maguire. His horrendous mistakes have caused a significant downfall in his career.
On top of that there is uncertainty about his future at Manchester United. On the other side, experienced French defender Raphael Varane has joined Italian side Como. So, he is also not available for the United manager.

The young defender has made 32 appearances for French top-tier club Losc Lille. In the 2023–2024 campaign, he has attracted a lot of interest from all over Europe.
