Liverpool fans could be in for a shock this summer. As the Reds are reported to be preparing because of Real Madrid‘s possible interest in midfielder Alexis Mac Allister.
The Argentina international arrived from Brighton for ยฃ55 million in 2023. He has become a key part of the Reds’ system. The playmaker has been great, first under Jurgen Klopp and now under Arne Slot.
He has been performing at his best and has an increase of influence since joining. The 26-years-old player has attracted the interest of top European clubs. As per reports, Real Madrid is leading the chase.
His current market value is in region of around ยฃ77 million. However, he still has three years remaining on his contract. So, it would take a big offer for Liverpool to sell him.
But as per reports, The Reds are already expecting huge bids for him. They are expecting a big-money offer that is hard to refuse, if they decide to sell him.
Guler on the Radar as Part of Player-Plus-Cash Deal
As per Spanish reports, Real Madrid are willing to offer Arda Guler in a swap deal to sign Mac Allister.
The 20-year-old midfielder has had a tough go of it finding regular minutes at Bernabeu. But, he has shown his talent and quality when given an opportunity.
Liverpool are aware of Ardaโs potential. Although, the Reds would want financial compensation on top of the swap deal. Only then they will think about letting go of their midfield superstar.
