Liverpool are backing new manager Arne Slot with another impressive addition, as former Manchester City coach joins the backroom staff. Former Feyenoord Rotterdam manager Arne Slot is succeeding the legendary Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool!
Klopp would enjoy a successful 9 year stint with Liverpool. Moreover, the German coach would restore glory days at Anfield winning the Champions League and the first league title in the Premier League era. Furthermore, the Reds would pose as serious title contenders under Klopp. Additionally, they would also enjoy fairly regular Champions League football.

Briggs will be joining Arne Slot along with a number of talented individuals already signed in the backroom staff. Liverpool have already recruited Sipke Hulshoff, Assistant Coach; Ruben Peeters, Physical Performance Coach; and Fabian Otte, First Team Goalkeeping Coach to join Arne Slot in the backroom staff.
The Reds are keen to make a statement in the upcoming season as they will aim to win the league in Slot’s first season at the helm.
Who is Aaron Briggs?
Aaron Briggs is a 37-year old is a performance and tactical analyst footballing coach. Briggs has experience of working for various top clubs and organizations. The 37-year old has worked for Preston North End, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, AS Monaco and VfL Wolfsburg. Furthermore, he also has an experience of working as a consultant for FIFA.
Aaron Briggs will be replacing Vitor Matos in the coaching staff at Liverpool. Matos would leave following the departure of Jurgen Klopp from Anfield. Current Liverpool Head Coach Arne Slot has suggested that Briggs will be ‘used in every department’ as part of the backroom staff.

Former Liverpool legend Dirk Kuyt is reportedly keen to join Arne Slot at Liverpool. Kuyt is a former Champions League and FA Cup finalist. Additionally, he has won the EFL Cup with the Reds. He is also a World Cup finalist with the Netherlands in 2010. Kuyt would be named as the Dutch Footballer of the Year in 2006. Kuyt would make 285 appearances for the Reds scoring 71 goals.
The former Liverpool legend is keen to link up with Arne Slot at Liverpool. Kuyt would state:
“Of course, if I can help Liverpool in any way, then I will”.
Liverpool are posing a serious threat to other teams with their moves in the transfer market. Slot will be hoping to clinch silverware in his first season at Anfield.
