Liverpool considering to let new summer signing leave after merely six months

Liverpool could be parting ways with Federico Chiesa with AC Milan and Roma lurking. He is struggling to get time on the field at Anfield. Many believe that he would finally get back to form and revive his career in Merseyside. But thing just haven’t worked out for him yet. As for the Reds, they continue to cruise under new manager Arne Slot. As of now, they are on top of the Premier League with a 5-points lead. At the same time, they are the only team in the UCL with a 100% record this season.

Federico Chiesa could leave Liverpool in January

As per wikipedia, the 27-year-old has managed to make only 3 appearances this season. Injuries certainly gave him a hard time and have derailed what could have been a really promising career. But he still has the time to get back on track. He is capable of being one of the world’s best when in form. But he needs time on the field for that. And Liverpool are not able to find a place for Federico Chiesa in the starting lineup just yet. So a loan move away in January makes a lot of sense. Especially considering that if he stays, he would be warming the bench most of the time. Although some reports suggest otherwise.

A return to Serie A on the edge?

As per cultofcalcio, AC Milan and Roma are keen to secure the services of the Italian star. The winger’s salary could be an issue. But if they manage to sign him in January, they will just have to pay half of it. So considering that, the Reds could choose to loan him. It will be interesting to see if Federico Chiesa chooses to stay and fight for his place at Liverpool. He can be an immediate starter when fully fit and in form. Sadly, he looks far from it as of now.
