Liverpool legend Graeme Souness has said that Trent-Alexander Arnold will need to defend perfectly against Arsenal. He has also said he will need help to defend against the likes of Gabriel Martinelli.

LIVERPOOL TEAMMATES NEED TO PROTECT TRENT-ALEXANDER ARNOLD
Liverpool legend Graeme Souness has said that Trent-Alexander Arnold will need help from his teammates against Arsenal. The legend says Arsenal will be looking to target his defensive vulnerability at the moment. Hence, the Reds need to protect their right back. Trent is brilliant going forward. However, he has been left exposed while defending. Therefore, England manager Gareth Southgate did not give him any minutes in the recent international games.
Graeme Souness added,
“Gabriel Martinelli will be a big part of the threat to them at the Emirates. He has great feet and looks to me like he’s going to be a real player. Trent Alexander-Arnold will need help from his Liverpool teammates.”
Therefore, Klopp needs to instruct the players to help Trent-Alexander nullify the threat of Gabriel Martinelli.
THE REDS NEED TO START WINNING GAMES CONTINUOUSLY SOONER OR LATER
At the moment, Klopp’s men are not at their best. However, everyone expects them to finish in the top four of the Premier League this season. Therefore, Liverpool needs to start winning games continuously. The Reds have failed to start a winning form this season. It is going such that if they win in the Premier League, they will end up losing in the Champions League and vice-versa.
Hence, Klopp needs to find a way to stop his defense from leaking goals. The defense should be a top priority for Jurgen Klopp at the moment. They are scoring goals. However, they are failing to keep clean sheets in the game. Hence, every game becomes a nervous game at the end for Liverpool fans. Therefore, Jurgen Klopp needs to find a solution very quickly.
Liverpool are currently 9th in the Premier League table. Whereas, Arsenal are top of the Premier League. Hence, a loss for the Reds will slide them more down the Premier League. Therefore, it will be difficult for them to finish in the top 4 this season.
