There are not many who possess natural talent like Morrison, who is just 17, stands out as one of the bests. He joined the team as an U14 from Manchester United and flourished in his early years, putting an end to rumors about his future when he recently signed new terms with Liverpool.

Coach Marc-Bridge Wilkinson was quick to commend Morrison for his prolific success this season “across a variety of different positions”. Morrison is an impressively dynamic and creative midfielder.

Morrison, whose parents are from Northern Ireland, has the potential to be Liverpool’s next breakout star like Connor Bradley. The right-back has been playing very well lately, recording one goal and five assists since the start of the season.

Morrison, one of the most exciting prospects available, made his Premier League 2 debut as well. With his attacking midfield abilities, he could be the ideal backup for Dominik Szoboszlai.

Morrison has racked up seven goals and three assists in ten starts for the U18 Premier League this season. He particularly shined against Middlesbrough, scoring a magnificent hat-trick that earned journalist Jack Lusby’s commendation for his “outstanding” work.

Shades of Dominik Szoboszlai

In July, Liverpool paid £60 million to acquire Szoboszlai from RB Leipzig. Since then, he has been a key player in the Reds’ comeback, bringing vitality, spark, and inventiveness to the engine room. The Hungarian has scored five goals and provided four assists under Klopp’s management, while completing 88% of his passes in the Premier League, as per Sofascore.

He has been a vital player for Liverpool, with a strong shot and remarkable technical ability. He may offer Morrison the blueprint he needs to be successful in the Premier League. Morrison has also demonstrated his capacity to distribute assists and goals throughout his play while still playing with fluidity as a whole.

Liverpool may thus discover that they already possess the ideal heir and all they need to do now is help him rise to prominence in the upcoming years.
