According to Liverpool FC, Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister is back with the squad for the pre season. The player arrived in Columbia to meet his teammates and new manager. Mac Allister just come back from one of the best international breaks for any player. The player come back as a Copa America champion with Argentina. Mac Allister was a key player for Argentina in their journey to retain the Copa America championship. This is the third silverware for the Argentina National team after winning two Copa Americas and one World cup. When Argentina win the World cup Mac Allister was a Brighton player. The celebration of the player and his old club got famous on social media. Football fans all over the world appreciated Brighton for giving such a warm welcome to a World champion. The following transfer window Alexis Mac Allister made his move to Liverpool under Klopp.
Mac Allister’s had a slow start to his Liverpool career. In the starting Mac Allister was played as a central defensive midfielder for Liverpool. This was far from his natural position and the Argentinian struggled. Mac Allister is a player who likes to make forward runs and support the attack. However Liverpool decide to play a gamble on Wataru Endo. Many people name this an unserious signing by the Reds. However in the midway of the season Endo prove all his haters wrong. The player become an integral part of Jurgen Klopp’s midfield along Dominik Szoboszlai and Mac Allister.
Liverpool midfielder ready after international glory
In the starting matches Alexis Mac Allister was overshadowed by his teammate Dominik Szoboszlai. The Hungarian had a very promising debut for the Reds. Szoboszlai’s work ethic and his vision combine with long range goals gave rise to comparisons with Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard. Liverpool fans are happy they have finally found a capable player for the number eight jersey. However after coming back from an injury Dominik Szoboszlai was not the same. The player was not playing with his old flair and his long range rockets become a rare thing. During this time Liverpool needed a player to step up in the midfield and Mac Allister took the oppurtunity. The Argentinian become a fan favourite after his performances every week. Mac Allister score goals, gave assists, won the ball for the team and keep possession. Mac Allister was giving world class performances regularly.
Now that senior players of Liverpool are returning, we can expect to see the reds in full strength. Moreover with new manager Arne Slot and his possession based tactics, we will see a new look at Anfield. Currently Liverpool are on their pre season tour. The reds have already win their first two matches against Real Betis and Arsenal. However they have another big match coming against their rivals Manchester United. Arne Slot’s tactics are gaining a lot of attraction on the social media. Fans are loving the improvement Dutch manager brought in Liverpool’s game. Liverpool’s youngster Fabio Carvalho is putting up some decent performances. After all these transfer rumours, the youngster is giving his all for the club on the field.
