Liverpool winger Luis Diaz is expected to leave Liverpool after the uncertainty surrounding his contract. The forward has been exceptional for the team but can move out of the club after tensions with his contract. Diaz has been particularly interested in a deal with Spanish giants Barcelona.
The Reds did offer the Colombian a new contract to stay at Anfield as he has been an important part of the team. Liverpool did offer a contract to Diaz but it was reported that he was not satisfied with the club’s terms.
This tension between the club and the player has attracted other clubs. Luis has been in talks with many giants such as Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain. The Colombian has spent quite some time in London and is ready for a new challenge.
Liverpool paid a total of 50 million euros for the winger from FC Porto. Diaz signed a 5-year contract with the Merseyside club. Tottenham Hotspur also kept a close eye on the youngster but Liverpool gained the upper hand.
