Liverpool have reportedly made a bid for Leeds Forward Raphinha valued at 40m.

According to sources, The winger is hesitant to extend his contract. He wants to leave at the end of the season. The Brazilian’s current contract expires at the end of the 2023-24 season.

Raphinha has received offers from the Premier League itself, most notably Liverpool and Chelsea. The Brazilian has a value of 40m in the transfer market.

Is Raphinha Worth it?

Raphinha has scored nine goals and assisted 3 more in his 28 appearances for the whites. According to WhoScored, Raphinha has managed to average 7.02 pts every game this season.

Liverpool reportedly have made a bid for the winger. Liverpool is going to sell one of their 3 main forwards, Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, or Roberto Firmino. They will be going all out for a forward when one of the forwards does leave.

Raphinha is a pacey winger and could prove to be a perfect replacement for either Mohamed Salah or Sadio Mane.

Former Manchester United player Gary Neville is a big fan of the Brazilian. He said

” He’s a top player, I think if they were to go down (Leeds United relegated) then a lot of clubs would be looking at him. I know he was left out towards the end of the (Marcelo) Bielsa reign, people saying he was inconsistent, but every time I’ve watched him I think ‘I wouldn’t like to play against him.”

Leeds are at the bottom half of the table. At 16th Position, they have accumulated 29 pts in 30 matches. The Whites are battling relegation and are trying to stay in the League. Raphinha will leave if that does happen and clubs will line up to sign him.
