Liverpool did offer Salah a new 2-year contract extension with the club as per TheHardTackle. There were rumours that Salah might have made a move out of the club earlier in this campaign. It is now clear that the Egyptian king will stay at Anfield.
There is one problem for the Reds as they still have to deal with Luis Diaz’s contract. The club did offer a contract to the Colombian but it was not as per Diaz’s preferences. The 27-year-old has hinted at an interest in a move with Spanish giants Barcelona.
Salah and Diaz have been the first-team wingers for Arne Slot’s squad. They are an important part of the Dutch manager’s team. The boss will try to convince the officials to sign a new contract for Luis Diaz if he is part of the team’s plans.
