Liverpool is now entering into a new era, the era of Arne Slot. Liverpool have already started signing new player or are on the verge of signing of the players.

There are some transfer news going around in the media and some of them are true like Liverpool made contact with Bayer Leverkusen’s young talent Florian Wirtz to try to sign him but the player himself refused to join the reds as he wants to stay in Bayer Leverkusen at least for one more season.
Other than Liverpool, Real madrid and Bayern Munich are the clubs who also wanted to sign the german international but he refused everyone as he is ready to leave his club yet.
The 21 years old came into the light in the season where he won the Bundesliga with his club and ending the 11 years run of Bayern Munich winning the trophy and his club has also secured the a spot in the Champions League, so he wants to play his first Champions league season with Leverkusen.
Wirtz does not want to leave Bayer Leverkusen this season
Wirtz who a prolific playmaker scored in Germany’s opening game of Euro 2024. It helped him to increase his value and his worth. He has made clear that he will not change his club this year, and he is currently in a contract with Leverkusen, he is looking forward for this year to play at Bayer and to play in Champions league with them for the first time in their history.
Other than Writz, Liverpool have put their second choice goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher on transfer market with a price tag of 25 million. The irishman is keen to play as a first team goalkeeper and ready to leave the reds, he made up his mind last year only and reds also got some offer for him but the club decided not sell last year but this year they are ready to sell him.
Celtic is the club who is currently interested in Kelleher according to the reports, but the player might be expensive for the scottish club as the value Liverpool put on the goalkeeper is 25m which they cannot afford it.
The Scottish club is looking for the replacement of Joe hart. Liverpool wants the Feyenoord goalkeeper Justin Bijlow as their new number two goalkeeper
