Liverpool willing to pay a £60million fee for Raphinha.

Liverpool are reportedly willing to pay £60million for Leeds winger Raphinha. However, the deal for the winger is very complicated.

The Reds need a quality winger to replace Sadio Mane. If reports are to be believed Liverpool are interested in the Brazilian international.

According to reports, Liverpool and Chelsea are willing to agree a fee of £60million for the attacker from Leeds United. However, the report also states that Barcelona currently read the race. But, the Catalan giants are unable to meet the high asking price. Some recent reports have also have claimed Chelsea have agreed a fee for Raphinha. However, Chelsea are unable to agree personal terms with the agent. The Brazilian international is still waiting to see if Barcelona can somehow match Chelsea’s bid. Amid all these reports Liverpool have reportedly entered the race for the forward. The Reds are also willing to match Chelsea’s demands. Although, the sources tell the deal is very complicated. The reason is Chelsea and Barcelona are leading the race. However, the most important reason is Liverpool have already spent big on Darwin Nunez. Due to these reasons, the deal is very complicated.

BARCELONA ARE ALREADY TRYING TO RAISE FUNDS

Barcelona have reached a commercial agreement with Sixth Street. This deal has generated a capital gain of 267 million euros for the current season. The funds would allow them to fund key transfers. Although, the club wants to secure the signings of Bernando Silva and Robert Lewandoski first. However, these deals would cost a combined 130 million euros. This means that they might not be able to afford the Brazilian.

However, the Brazilian’s agent Deco and the player himself are pushing Leeds to convince Leeds to lower the asking price. Although, Leeds United want to respect the agreement with Chelsea. They will only sell Raphinha to Barca if they can match Chelsea’s bid.

Amid all these situations if Liverpool enters the bidding room, it will be interesting to see how the transfer saga unfolds. Raphinha contributed in 14 goals to help Leeds United avoid the drop. One thing is for sure Raphinha will 100% play European football next season.
