Liverpool’s Salah Could Break Cristiano’s World Record Deal

Liverpool’s latest news report on the offer that could surpass Ronaldo’s world record deal as Saudi Arabian clubs are calling for Salah.

Liverpool’s Salah With A World Record Deal

The Reds star Mohamed Salah has reportedly been offered a contract that could surpass that of Cristiano Ronaldo’s. If this is the case then it could surely change the forwards future.

Mo is out of contract in 2025 and is currently free to talk to other clubs.

On various occasions he has stated that he is closer to leaving Liverpool than staying at the club. Sarcastically saying that he is “more out than in”.

Therefore, there are several clubs keeping the tabs on him. Super rich sides from the Saudi Pro League are in the front on bringing the Egyptian to the Middle East. That could make him world’s biggest football star in history. Al-Hilal are offering him a very big and tempting deal.

Fichajes reports,” The financial offer they are preparing is unprecedented, placing Salah as the potential highest paid player on the planet, a factor that could be decisive in their decision.”

Some reports also suggests that Saudi Pro League Champions Al-Hilal were also interested in signing the Liverpool star last year as well. Now they are looking for a high-profile signing to replace Neymar.

Neymar’s contract also ends at the end of this season. So Al-Hilal can offer Mo Salah a huge contract.

The head of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority, Turki Al-Sheikh, also shared a photo of Salah wearing a Al-Hilal jersey on his personal Facebook account.

Liverpool’s Current Season With Salah

Salah is currently enjoying a remarkable season season with the Premier League leaders. So far we have seen hims score 21 goals and assist 17 in just 29 matches. There is no doubt that he is one of the best players in the club and in the world for sure. He is currently at his very best.

Earlier in the season he was asked about his future at Anfield, he said,” It’s the last six months. There is no progress there. We’re far away from any progress. So, we just need to wait and see.” speaking to Sky Sports.

“The thing in my head is that if this is the last six months, what do you want to see in the future?

“Do you want to look back and say ‘I was concerned or stressed about the contract? Or do you just want to say ‘I had an unbelievable season?’ That’s what is in my head.

“If I ever feel distraction, I just remind myself I want to look back and say I had an unbelievable season. That’s what I want to do.”

Former Reds head coach, Jurgen Klopp also said, “I hope he stays” in an event this month.

Saudi’s want Salah

Sky Sports chief reporter Kaveh Solhekol said,” When it comes to Salah and Saudi Arabia, It’s a case of once bitten, twice shy.

“The Saudi’s tried 18 months ago to sign Salah. Al-Ittihad made a bid that was supposed to be worth up to £150m but that was rejected. They’ve always been very careful since then about making another move for the striker.

“What we’ve consistently been told is if Salah wants to go to Saudi Arabia, his representatives need to get in touch and they will make it happen. They would love to have him playing in the Saudi Pro League.

“Al-Hilal, who are the champions and the biggest club at the moment, have Neymar who is out of contract at the end of the season. They’re looking for a replacement. His time there hasn’t gone to plan. But they would only make a move if Salah feels now is the time to leave.

Author’s Opinion

Mohamed Salah is one of Liverpool’s all-time greatest players. His contract is expiring in the summer and he is yet to extend his stay. With Saudi Arabian clubs keen to sign him, it wouldn’t be a impossible task for Liverpool to keep him at Anfield but difficult. Could this be the end of his amazing Premier League career? it surely wouldn’t be a great sight.
