Arsenal are working out a move for Liverpool’s winger Luis Diaz and are hopeful of signing him in the next transfer window.

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal is looking to strengthen his squad in this summer. And he thinks Luis Diaz would be the ideal player. While also he may also adding some much-needed goals to their attack.
The 28-year-old Colombian winger is at the peak of his powers in football. The Gunners would benefit from his experience in the Premier League. He is a strong replacement for Gabriel Martinelli or Bukayo Saka on either wing. He has the ability to play in either position,
Martinelli and Saka are both key players to Arsenal’s attacking system. Putting the icing on the cake, the London club has already opened talks with Diaz’s representatives. And they would be willing to part with a good amount of money to get his signature.
Liverpool are not planning to sell their star. The north London side will surely find it hard to get the player. Because the Reds are not willing to let him go without a fight. At Anfield, the forward is considered an important part of the squad. His club will not let him go unless they can get a quality replacement.
There is uncertainty around the futures of both Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez. They both will be running out of contract very soon. Salah may decide to move to Saudi Arabia. Then Arne Slot will have a huge task keeping the Columbian.
Barcelona are also tracking Luiz’s movements.
As talks with Diaz progress, FC Barcelona can only watch as a target slips through their fingers. The La Liga giants have seen the winger as the perfect signing to strengthen their forward options. But with financial issues, the club is unable to compete with Arsenal’s offer.
The Catalan side have a tight room with wages. That could it almost impossible for the club to make any signing without first selling players.
It all points to the Reds’ attacker wearing an Arsenal jersey next season. The London side is willing to offer a big fee to Liverpool. While Barca may just be out of the race completely.
This might feel like a betrayal for the Catalan side. They have lost one of their transfer targets to another European giant.
