Chelsea will most probably not spend any money on Malo Gusto and add him to an already very strong Chelsea squad to replace Reece James.
The Blues Squad is already very good with Gusto:
Chelsea already have a very good squad. The Blues will now make a lot of tactical changes to the team. They have already been winning a lot of games as well. However, their problem still persists in the full-back position. Reece James who just returned from an injury, have also been injured all over again. He met with a hamstring injury again.
Chelsea still avoided a lot of injuries in the squad except him. The player have been known to be very injury prone as well. The England International was mostly replaced by Malo Gusto most of the times. The Blues needs a player who is a born right footer. Reece James have only played 4 matches for Chelsea this season then got injured again most of the time. Malo Gusto have also been injured and have been left out of the International squad as well. He have played a lot of matches for Chelsea because of the absence of Reece James.
Can Malo Gusto replace Reece James?
I understand Malo Gusto is a great player. However, he still cannot match the passes and the runs of Reece James from the flanks to the midfield. The Blues have a lot more players in their hand. Marc Cucurella replaced Reece James for a bit from his left back position. He played in the right back but he did not perform overwhelmingly good. Enzo Maresca have a lot of other players in the squad as well but Malo and Marc will most probably replace Reece James. However, there is one more player as well in the squad who might replace Reece James.
Who will Chelsea sign for free along with Malo Gusto?
Alfie Gilchrist is the one who might join Chelsea for free. He was on a loan from Sheffield United. The player have been really good at the same time as well. Chelsea may not even spend money for him ad sign him in January transfer market for free. The 20 year old full back have played in every Championship match for Sheffield United. The team is now third in the League too. The player is getting more and more experience from his time at Sheffield United. Chelsea should definitely sign him back to play in their team and play him at full back replacing Reece James. Till now there have not been any updates for Reece James. At the moment, there should be consistency from Chelsea and the players.
Chelsea’s other problems:
Amidst, the full back problems, Chelsea have another problem too. The Blues have signed around 32 players in the summer and a lot of players are not getting their required game time to play. The players have mostly been benched. Chelsea should look into this matter and let these players play as well. The Blues have been a great side. However, they should not let go of the talents they have signed. Examples include Nkunku and Mudryk even.
Mudryk was given a lot of chances to prove himself but he could not. This is the reason why Maresca benched him in most of the matches instead. However, in recent game times, he is playing very well too. Nkunku have not been getting the game time he deserves as well. The player will most probably leave Chelsea by January according to reports too. The Blues have already become a powerhouse in the Premier League. Now they should make sure that they do not sign any more unnecessary players. The Blues should now look forward to improve the already good squad more so that they can win trophies now. Thanks to Enzo Maresca, Chelsea have improved a lot this season.
