Man Utd and Erik Ten Hag have their eyes set on a major squad overhaul with signings to get back in the race for European glory.

Fellow premier league rivals look to bolster their squad, Man Utd will face some serious competition for his signings.

Martial, left the club on loan in January for regular game time at Sevilla with no intetions of coming back.

Contracts of Martial, Lingard, Pogba, Mata, Matic and Cavani are set to end by this summer. The red devils need to bolster their squad with every prominent position and the defense hasn’t been performing well too.

Man Utd and The Nerazzurri

According to reports, United may offer the Frenchman along with cash in a swap deal to Seria A giants Inter Milan.

Inter will refuse the deal although the Nerazzurri have been a perfect place for ex- Man Utd players to flourish.

The likes of Young, Lukaku and Sanchez have seen a turnover in their careers playing for the Nerazzurri.

Thetransfer activity of the £63 million South American star is kept track by some big Spanish as well as English clubs.

Anthony Martial and Old Trafford

Martial joined Old Trafford from Monaco under mighty Van Gaal in a deal worth over £50m. His debut witnessed him scoringa great goal against Liverpool. During his time at old trafford, the players has struggled to keep consistency and was sent on loan.

Ex-AS Monaco joined under Van Gaal and went on to win the 2015 Golden Boy award. He became the second one at Old Trafford to acheive this feat after Wayne Rooney in 2004.

Season of 2019/20 was the best for Martial, in which he made 48 appearances and scored 23 times with 12 goal contributions. Introduction of Cavani and Cristiano in the upcoming season has reduced his game time.

After underestimation for two seasons, the Frenchman is not willing to sign an extension of his stay at Man Utd. At 26 years, Martial is at his prime years and should look for game time somewhere else.
