Manchester City and Liverpool have shown major interest in Kingsley Coman of Bayern Munich. The attacker looks set for an exit from the Allianz.

While Bayern Munich would probably love for him to extend his stay, it seems that the player’s wage demands are astronomically high. The reason might be the same one that made David Alaba refuse Bayern’s attempts at an extension — he had his head turned and wanted to leave.

The situation is unfavourable to the Bavarians at all. There is a growing belief that the player wants to depart the club.

Manchester City and Liverpool monitoring Coman

Kingsley Coman has expressed his desire to play football in England, putting both Liverpool and Manchester City on the qui vive. While the Reds didn’t had much to excite their fans in this summer transfer window.

Former clubs Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus also appear intrigued.

However, the forward is eager to experience Premier League life, having prior experience in the Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue 1.

The Frenchman is known for his winning mentality, having won all three leagues. With over 200 appearances for Bayern, he is one of the most experienced players in his age group.

After claiming six successive Bundesliga titles, he is now looking to the Premier League.

Coman has bagged 41 goals and registered 50 assists in 203 appearances for the Bavarians in all competitions. The forward already has three outings in the inital stages of the new season under his belt.

The 25-year-old’s current deal at the Allianz runs till June 2023. Thus far, it is understood that he has shown any signs of signing an extension with the Bundesliga giants.

Despite being clinical on the wings, Coman has faced fitness issues. He had missed large parts of the season due to his never-ending injury woes.

Coupled with Jamal Musiala establishing himself as one of the most promising youngsters, Coman’s days could be numbered.
