Manchester City lose their 9th match as Pep is frustrated

Manchester City have been in a terrible form lately as they lose their 9th match.

The Manchester City Downfall:

Manchester City have been playing horrendous lately and they have been losing most of their matches as well. Haaland himself have not been performing well at all. Pep Guardiola have been changing tactics for every single game and they are still not working as well. The players have been frustrated too. Rodri have been injured as well and because of this, they are suffering most probably. Phil Foden have been in a pretty bad form as well since the last few matches. The club have been in a relegation type of form at the moment.

What is going on at Manchester City?

The charges they had went from 115 to 130 and the matches they lost went from 8 to 9 on Saturday. The club is seventh at the moment after their loss against Aston Villa. Just last year, they won a treble and now they find themselves in the seventh place in the Premier League. Southampton have the same number of points as Manchester City in the last eight matches. In the last eight matches, Southampton drawn one, won one and lost 6 of them. Pep Guardiola’s team was known to be the best in the world just one year ago and now they have suddenly turned into this massacre.

Author’s opinion:

Manchester City have a lot of difficult matches ahead, against Everton, Liverpool, Chelsea and a lot more. Pep must really try finding a solution right now otherwise Manchester City’s terrible run will continue. They have literally lost 9 matches out of their 12 matches. This is a really bad run for a team who just won the treble one year ago. Jack Grealish have been in a bad form lately and Rodri have been injured. Nothing is really working out for Pep Guardiola.
