Manchester City player ratings for their 2-2 draw against West Ham

Manchester City spoiled their chance of lifting the title with one game in hand against a determinant West Ham.

It was an emotional day for the West Ham fans as they bid goodbye to their homegrown lad and club captain Mark Noble.

Therefore, West Ham started the match on a perfect note. Jarrod Bowen scored two quick-fire goals against the visitors to give West Ham a surprising lead.

However, Jack Grealish pulled one back for the visitors just after the halftime. After that, City started out with their onslaught and kept pressing for the equalizer.

The equalizer for City came from an own goal from Vladimir Coufal.

However, after that City gifted two chances to the hosts who failed to make most of the chances.

Late on in the game City got a penalty and Riyad Mahrez had the perfect chance to stage the turnaround. However, a fabulous save from Lucas Fabianski kept denying the visitors the three points that they were so eager to collect.

Made some bad passes and lost the ball. Moreover, did not look commanding.

Fernandinho 4/10

He does not seem to adapt to this position. Did not look confident on the ball, and made a horrific back pass which he got away with it. Moreover, did not look comfortable around Antonio.

Aymeric Laporte 5/10

Went up too much forward leaving the defence bare and allowing strikers to make run-ins behind.

Oleksandr Zinchenko 5/10

Could not deal well with the threat of Bowen for which he got punished.

Bernardo Silva 5/10

Was not at his usual best and spoiled a good chance.

Rodri 7/10

Assisted Grealish for the first goal. Moreover, made some important tackles to deny the West Ham players from moving forward and scoring.

Kevin De Bruyne 6/10

Made some good deliveries into the box. Apart from that was quiet throughout.

Riyad Mahrez 5/10

His cross was met by Coufal which ended at the back of his own net. Made some good crosses. However, missed the crucial penalty to win it for City in the dying minutes of the game.

Gabriel Jesus 6/10

Was a threat for the West Ham defenders. Took some good shots. However, only one ended up on target.

Jack Grealish 7/10

Could not be seen in the first half. However, got City back into the game with his goal in the second half.
