Manchester City thrashed Arsenal at Etihad Stadium on Thursday as Ian Wright claims “City were too intense” for the Gunners.

City beat Arsenal 4:1 to tarnish Arteta’s title hope this season. Kevin De Bruyne, John Stones and Erling Haaland scored the goals to seal the deal. Pep Guardiola’s men are undoubtedly heading for fifth title in six years.

But Manchester City are still in 2nd possition, as they have played two less games than Arsenal. Only seven games are left to decide the title winner this season.

In contrast, Arsenal’s season is in huge danger as they collapsed in recent matches, taking just three points in last 4 matches. On Thursday, Arteta’s men were humbled and humiliated is most ruthless fashion as there title winning hopes are now shattered.

FORMER ARSENAL LEGEND CLAIMS “MANCHESTER CITY WERE TOO INTENSE”

Former Arsenal legend Ian Wright claims Manchester City were too intense for Arsenal. He said :-

“Man City would not let Arsenal into the game. We’ve seen Arsenal starting well, breaking presses, but this [City] press was intense. Haaland is physical and aggressive, City were giving Arsenal no opportunity to get anything going. When you look at the way they positioned themselves, De Bruyne will go and see where he can cut the ball off. It was so well organised that there was no time for someone to get their foot on the ball.

“City were too intense. They kind of rattled Arsenal at the start in the way they came at them.
