Manchester United are preparing to approach Crystal Palace for Adam Wharton for June window. Former Utd defender Rio Ferdinand has also suggested the Red Devils to sign the player.

Head coach Ruben Amorim is reportedly looking for homegrown talents. Adam will be a great solution for that. The manager is looking to bring in some new players in to the squad. The club is undergoing a rebuild under the Portuguese tactician. He needs players who can fit in his 3-4-2-1 formation.

The Red Devils have surely found it difficult to stay on track this season. Currently they are at 13th in the Premier League points table. Unfortunately, for the first time, they will to finish this campaign inside the bottom half of the league.

Ruben has got a huge task in bringing the glory days back at Old Trafford. Also, the club is facing some financial issues as well. However, they will need to sign some key players for the next season. A pure striker would be their main target during the summer transfer window.

Wharton to Old Trafford next season ?

Crystal Palace signed the midfielder from Blackburn Rovers in January 2024. He was quick to fit in to the Premier League and began well with Palace.

Man City, Tottenham Hotspur, and Real Madrid are reportedly keeping an eye on his movements.

As per reports, Oliver Glasner’s side will be looking for offers around ยฃ70 million for their youngster. However, they will try to extend his stay at the Selhurst Park Stadium.

Chrsitian Erikson and Casemiro are also close to leaving at the end of this campaign. So, it will be interesting to see how will they manage to fill up the spaces for next season.
