Manchester United are showing interest in Sporting Lisbon star Francisco Trincao for a summer move.
Utd head coach Ruben Amorim is looking for better attacking options. And he will surely look to bring few of his former stars from Lisbon.
Meanwhile, United are currently sitting at 13th place in the PL points table.
The head coach uses three center-half’s in his formation. From the looks of things, current Red Devils squad is struggling with this playing style. Players at Sporting have been playing as per the former manager’s demands. So, he could look to bring some players from his former club to Old Trafford.
As per GIVEMESPORT, Francisco Trincao could be approached if Matheus Cunha, there already target, doesn’t join the team this summer.
The Portugal international has scored eight goals and provided twelve assists. He has 24 goal involvements for his side overall. He will be targeted if Cunha’s move derails.
The Brazilian forward has netted thirteen times this season for Wolves. He also has four assists for Vitor Pereira’s sides so far. Several Premier League clubs are after him this summer.
As per reports, Liverpool are currently in front to sign the Brazilian.
Two Lisbon stars are linked with a move to the Old Trafford
Sporting Lisbon’s Viktor Gyokeres is also a potential summer target for the Red Devils. He has been incredible this season.
He has managed to score 44 goals in his 44 games with the Portuguese side in all competitions so far. Although, Arsenal are leading the race to sign him as per reports.
Trincao will surely fit into the Amorim’s system. He has played under the manager in Portugal as well.
