According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United are in advanced talks to sign Cody Gakpo in the January transfer window. The report also claims that they have not agreed on a fee with PSV Eindhoven. However, they are close to sealing the deal on personal terms. He further said,
“At the moment, for Kudus, they are not in advanced negotiations, including on the player side.”
“But, with Gakpo, negotiations are already advanced on the player’s side but not between clubs, as of now.”
Hence, it is looking like Manchester United views Cody Gakpo as the player for the future. A number of reports also claim that the Red Devils will not pursue any move for Joao Felix. The report also claims that the Red Devils tried to sign him in the last summer transfer window. However, PSV Eindhoven were not ready to reduce their 40 million fees. The forward also decided to stay with the Dutch giants for the sake of the World Cup. Therefore, now the forward is looking forward to a move to the Premier League giants.
