As per reports, the chief at Manchester United are seriously considering sacking Ole Gunnar.

Liverpool pummeled down the Red Devils with a humongous score of 5-0 on Sunday. An unexpected result was enough to shatter the hopes of the players and fans.

With the manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer already out of options, it seems like the Red Devils have hit rock bottom. It feels like that its high time Ole walks through the exit door.

It might be time up for Ole Gunnar at Manchester United

Earlier, it was reported that Ole’s job at Old Trafford is ‘100%’ secure. Having signed a new contract in 2021, Ole had extended his stay at the club until 2024. He seemed to be supported by the club’s board and was highly trusted.

However, yesterday the Utd board had a special meeting regarding the Norwegian managers future at the club. It was believed that the manager’s time was up. However, the board failed to make a final decision.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is likely to get a chance to rectify Man Utd’s dismal form. As he is expected to be in charge against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, some players & staff want him out. He just does not have the tactical skill and ability to take Manchester United forward anymore.

What is the next best move for Manchester United?

In the present situation, many of the players believe that there needs to be a change in the management of the club. There is a particular concern among a section of the Manchester United squad about the role of assistant coach, Kieran McKenna. Some squad members have been left uninspired by his training sessions.

Reportedly, the club has made first contact with former Inter Milan manager, Antonio Conte. The Italian seems to be ready to take the offer if the position opens. Conte has full confidence believing that he could win the Champions League at the club.

Meanwhile, Zinedine Zidane is also in the club’s radar, under the recommendations of Cristiano Ronaldo. For the time being, it looks like Ole has got one last chance to save himself from the chopping block, with their visit to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday.
