Ralf Rangnick is said to have to intervene to cut short a Manchester United training session after two players were involved in a bust-up. Rangnick was forced to end their training session early on Thursday after two players were reportedly involved in a bust-up. The Sun reported that the unnamed pair were involved in a ‘full-on scrap’ at the business end of a training session. Rangnick is said to have taken charge of the incident. He is reported to have ordered the rest of the ‘stunned’ squad to return to their changing rooms.

Despite the Red Devil’s disappointing 4-0 loss to Brighton, Rangnick gave the side four days off. However, tensions were said to have erupted as they returned. Moreover, the fighting teammates had to be pulled apart. The famed German coach is set to depart, giving way to Erik Ten Hag, who is set to take over from next season.

What Ten Hag have to say about Manchester United?

In the post-match conference after Ajax’s win against Heerenveen Ten Hag said:

Actually only after the talks with Man Utd, which only started in the last international break, at the end of March. Those conversations were so good that I got the feeling: I want to take on that challenge. Then it started to come to life in my head and I made the decision that I would leave Ajax.”

He added,” It felt like a difficult but great challenge. That is the most beautiful thing there is. There is something to build at United and something to gain. Manchester United is such a big name in football history. It feels like a challenge to put the club back on track of winning.”

This is set to be the worst season for the Red Devils in the Premier League in two decades. Ten Hag, on the other hand, wrapped up things in style for Ajax. He secured their third title in his four years in charge for the club.
