Reportedly Manchester United have lured teen sensation Chido Obi Martin from Arsenal. The Red devils offered huge wages to him as bait which he gladly took. The 17 year old has been a part of the Hale end academy since last two years. The teenager has scored 32 goals in just 18 games in the youth Premier league. He has also represented the Gunners in the UEFA Youth league. The coaches were ready to promote him to the first team this season. This transfer has left the manager and the fans disappointed.
The Nigerian announced that he is leaving the club on his recent post on social media. United are currently finalizing the deal with the youngster. According to Goal, there were disagreements over money. The teenager was asking for humongous wages that was not accepted by Arsenal. The 17 year old is one of the hottest prospects in England. He will join the Red devils’ U-21 team directly and may feature in the main team on few occasions. United fans are very excited over this move, it has been a long time since United had a promising forward in their youth setup.
Manchester United keen on selling €30m defender
Manchester United have decided to sell Aaron Wan Bissaka to West Ham. The defender has one year left on his contract. The Red devils do not want him to leave for free prompting their urgency to sell him this season. According to reports from Sky News, the London club has sent an offer of €15m. Although, United have accepted the bid, wages could be a problem.
The Englishman has high wages at Old Trafford, which is concerning for the Hammers. Manchester United backed by INEOS is one of the busiest clubs in the transfer window right now. They have signed Leny Yoro from Lille and Joshua Zirzkee from Bologna. Ten Hag has also requested the board to sign De Ligt and right-back Mazraoui from Bayern Munich. To accomodate these new signings, they must sell players before second week of August to maintain proper wage bill.
The right-back is not interested in leaving Old Trafford this season. He wants to wait for better offers for him. However, he also understands that his playing time will be reduced if Mazroui signs for the Premier league giants. A move away from Manchester should be best for both parties in this scenario.
The Red devils closing in on Morrocan defender
Manchester United have accepted Bayern Munich’s proposed fee of €20m for Noussair Mazraoui. The defender wants the move and is convinced of Erik Ten Hag’s project. He has previously played under the Dutch manager at Ajax before joining Bayern Munich. The versatile defender can play on the right flank and the left flank. United have concerns regarding fitness of Luke Shaw and Malacia which prompted them for this move.
Mazraoui has also suffered various injuries in the past few seasons. Therefore, Bayern are letting go of him so early. The 25 year old was also approached by West Ham but the respective parties did not agree on personal terms. He is very fast and makes brilliant overlapping runs from the flanks. Ten Hag’s fluid counter attacking football suits Mazraoui perfectly.
The Morrocan defender is defensively solid. He was key during Morocco’s World Cup campaign as they reached the semifinal for the first time in their history. Mazraoui was linked with top clubs when he was playing at Ajax under Ten Hag. United were one of the worst top six clubs defensively last season. The board is keen on improving the defence this season. The 25 year old can be a brilliant asset for the Red devils to compete with top clubs this season.
