Manchester United have got Jarrad Branthwaite update
As per a report by The Sun, Man Utd are interested in Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite for the summer window.
The Red Devils tried to sign him last year as well. However, their offer was declined by the Merseyside club. Although, United will still try to go after him again this year as it seems.
Reports indicate that Everton have confirmed that the defender will exit Goodison Park after this season ends. However, the Toffees manager, David Moyes, has suggested he won’t leave unless it’s for a huge fee.
His current market value is around £50 million. He has a contract until 2027. In addition, he can also extend his stay by one more year as per the deal.
Moyes’ side are expecting a busy summer transfer window this time. As they only have 11 players in the squad who have a contract beyond this campaign. Therefore, we may see few exits as well during the June market.
Everton have already turned down the Red Devils’ deal in the past. Additionally, during the winter transfer window, one of their rivals approached them for Jarrad. They have declined a decent offer from that Premier League team as well.
Ruben Amorim will be busy making moves in the June transfer market. He wants to bring in players who can fit into his system and formations. He will surely go after the young defender this summer.
