Manchester United reportedly wants to replace Cristiano Ronaldo with Lautaro Martinez from Argentina. According to a report from Fichajes, the Reds have been considering options to replace Ronaldo and the Argentinian name comes on top.

Martinez is considered one of the best attacker in Europe and could make a great addition to Erik Ten Hag’s squad.

The Argentina international has been an important asset for Inter Milan over the past few seasons. He also helped them win the Serie A title in the 2020/21 season. He has bagged 65 goals in his span of the last three years, he already has scored 8 goals this season.

Martinez is currently in Qatar on World Cup duty and looked pretty good in the first clash against Saudi Arabia.

Martinez is still young and a very clinical striker who is yet to reach his peak which could be a good investment for the Reds.
