The Spartak Moscow striker, Manfred Ugalde may join Arsenal in the next transfer window.
Who can solve Arsenal’s attacking?
Arsenal have been facing a lot of issues in their striker position. The Gunners have been mainly scoring goals from set pieces and not from normal open plays. This have led to a lot of problems for the Gunners. Arsenal are looking forward to fix this problem by signing a new striker in the next transfer window. They have a lot of options in the hand and Arteta will sign someone after careful consideration of their tactics. The Gunners fans are very frustrated because they have been bottling the Premier League since the last few seasons. A good striker who can score a lot of goals will help the club finally win the Premier League again.
Who is Manfred Ugalde?
Manfred Ugalde plays for Spartak Moscow in the Premier Liga. The player have already scored 15 goals and also made 3 assists in just 18 games. The player is very short compared to other strikers in the Premier League. His ability to dribble past defenders is very great as well. However, his physicality is not that great at all in terms of the Premier League defenders. He scored one goal in the Russian Cup despite being only 22 years old. He is now the leading marksman. Igor Kolyanov, the former Russian under-21 coach said that he is a great player but he is underdeveloped and suddenly going to the Premier League will hamper his growth as well. He suggested that he should finish his season at Spartak Moscow before going to Arsenal.
Author’s opinion:
I think Arsenal should wait and signed an experienced striker instead of him. This is because Arsenal is one of the best teams in the world right now. They are in the Premier League title race for the past few seasons and they need a striker who can score a lot of goals. An experienced striker will not really need time to grow and can play in the Premier League well. Nikolay Naumov who is the former president of Lokomotiv Moscow said that Ugalde should stay at Moscow right now instead of going to the Premier League, it is too difficult. He suggested him to go to the Spanish or the Italian League instead.
