Guehi have been eyed by Chelsea as the replacement for Wesley Fofana. The player is known to be really great. He is a Chelsea graduate as well. He is now playing for Crystal Palace. The player have 18 months left in his contract. He may fix the defence line for Chelsea as well. Wesley Fofana was very great and to replace him is going to be a bit difficult task too. It is said he will return by the start of the next season.
Other replacements:
Another player Chelsea is targeting is Trevoh Chalobah. He is on a loan at Crystal Palace at the moment. However, it is unclear if Chelsea are interested in bringing him back again at the moment. The Blues are also targeting Ousmane Diomande from Sporting CP. They are also eyeing Tomรกs Araรบjo from Benfica. Chelsea also signed a few defenders in the transfer window such as Acheampong and Anselmino. However, they are very inexperienced though. Maresca is also facing a lot of problems however about defenders who are seeking to move out of the club as well.
Author’s Opinion:
I think Chelsea’s abundance of signings is a big problem in my opinion and they should fix this by giving other players more chances as well. Their constant addiction of trying to upgrade more players will lead to a lot more problems. Disasi’s future is uncertain along with Badiashile who may seek a move out of Chelsea as well. Ben Chilwell is up for sale at the moment. Renato Veiga have also been linked with Stuttgart and Napoli as well. Chalobah may not really join Chelsea because Crystal Palace will hold his contract for his loan.
