Mark Vaugh Has A say on Warner
Mark Vaugh, a former Australian Batsman Criticized Warner for his poor outing in the first innings of the Nagpur test. He Believes It’s the Confidence Issue that led to such poor performance. Even Though Warner Made a Double Hundred At SCG, Mark Still Feels He had a poor summer.
The Men in blues started the series in some fashion. Mohammad Siraj got Usman Khawaja early and Mohammad Shami got David Warner’s Wicket With The Visitors 2/2 in the first session.
Here’s What Mark Vaugh Said…
“Well, I think he has had a tough summer. I thought he made a great double hundred at the MCG. And apart from that, he has not made a lot of runs. There is an issue with his confidence, I think. I feel like he is not watching the ball as closely as he can. I am not sure if he is looking for the short ball or something else. You have to give it to Shami. That was an excellent ball. I think Warner thought it would leave him but it came at an angle. Top ball,”
Mohammad Shami produced peach of the delivery to get Pass Through David Warner’S Defence.
Former India coach Ravi Shastri Criticized Warner’s footwork and body language. He Questioned by saying that he has seen a much more confident Warner In Red Ball cricket with much more positive body language. Here are his Exact Words:
“I have seen Warner with much more positive footwork. But there, he was caught on the crease. His body language when his foot is moving is ‘when you don’t get it right (the bowler), I am attacking’. Here, the body language suggested that he was searching. Makes a big difference.”
