Mason Mount has become a fan favorite after returning from his loan spell. The England international is currently in Qatar playing on the World’s biggest stage, aiming to impress the world with his game. So for the time being the talks between Chelsea and Mason Mount are put on hold.

Mason Mount on Chelsea’s new contract offer

Mason Mount has started in both of England’s matches in the World Cup. Chelsea will be looking to finish negotiating with the English player after the World Cup. According to Daily Mail, the negotiations might not go smoothly between the two parties. Mount have reportedly rejected Chelsea’s £200,000 a week offer and demands an amount of £300,000 a week like his Chelsea and England teammate Raheem Sterling. Mason Mount is reported of the players who come under the lowest-earning players at the club. It would make sense that he is now demanding a better wage for his service to the club.

The 23- year old player have not yet signed a new contract with the club since returning from his loan spell three years ago. Mount has garnered interest from top clubs like Liverpool and Juventus after his performance in the last couple of seasons.
