Premier League starts tonight and we all have been waiting for the new season eagerly. Chelsea takes on Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge. The European Champions look like strong favorites to win this fixture.

The Blues have already bagged a trophy with the UEFA Super Cup. Meanwhile, the new dawn starts at Crystal Palace as Patrick Vieira takes charge and have made some excellent signings this summer.

Further, Crystal Palace has dislodged Wilfred Zaha from the team and Eberechi Eze is injured. This will mean that Vieira will have to play his youngster. When we look at this Crystal Palace side we can see that Jesurun Rak-Sakyi will feature in the first team. In addition, the departure of Patrick van Aanholt will lead to Tyrick Mitchell playing in his left-back position.

Chelsea vs Crystal Palace team news

Chelsea:

Chelsea’s most recent signing Romelu Lukaku is unlikely to be involved in the fixture as he hasn’t trained with the side. Moreover, Hakim Ziyech wouldn’t be able to play the game as he picked up an injury against Villarreal.

Meanwhile, Tuchel might prefer giving Kai Havertz rest for the upcoming game as he played the entire 120 minutes. This would mean that Mason Mount and Christian Pulisic will start the game. On the other hand James, Chilwell, Abraham, Loftus-Cheek, Emerson, and Thiago Silva did not feature in the Super Cup and will likely start the game. Tammy Abraham’s situation is still very complicated he has had offers from AS Roma as well as Premier League rivals Arsenal.
