Kylian Mbappe would have to wait until next January to complete his move to Real Madrid. Reports have been suggesting that both parties have had positive talks but the deal would have to wait.

Los Blancos submitted an improved offer to Paris Saint-Germain after they rejected the first bid. Real Madrid bid £145.9 million plus £8.6 million in guaranteed add-ons for the 22-year-old. Kylian Mbappe has made it more than clear that he wants to move to Real Madrid. Moreover, Paris Saint-Germain are aware of Kylian Mbappe’s interest to move to Spain.

Kylian Mbappe has entered the final year of his contract and can leave for free next summer. Real Madrid can sign the French forward for free next summer. According to Sky Sports Real Madrid sense that they should wait for another six months to begin negotiations with Mbappe as a free agent.

Madrid Mbappe, Six Sports

Kylian Mbappe joined Paris Saint-Germain in 2018 on a season long loan. Soon after his move loan at the Parc des Princes, PSG decided to sign the French prospect for a fee of £154m.

According to Spanish outlet Marca, Real Madrid directors have given PSG an ultimatum. Madrid want a definite answer from Paris Saint-Germain over the transfer of Mbappe by Saturday or Sunday.

Mbappe has scored 133 times and made 63 assists in 174 games in all competitions since his debut. Real Madrid have only made one signing this summer. Madrid signed David Alaba on a free transfer from Bayern Munich. Moreover, they have reported £257 million in losses due to the coronavirus pandemic.

If Mbappe leaves for Madrid who will replace him at PSG?

Real Madrid have until 31 August to get Kylian Mbappe’s signature. Even if they don’t sign him this summer they can sign him for free next summer. Meanwhile, PSG have identified Richarlison as Mbappe’s replacement. Richarlison is being considered upon Neymar’s suggestion. Moreover, PSG also have Erling Haaland and Robert Lewandowski on the list.
