Middlesbrough is currently 9th on the table with 30 points. 13 behind their visitors. They are unbeaten in their last three and have lost only one of their last six games. Chris Wilder has been recently appointed as the Middlesbrough manager. He has somewhat steadied the ship at the Riverside Stadium.
Wilder could not have asked for a better time to play Bournemouth. The Cherries are winless in five games. And the Middlesbrough manager will be looking to pile on their misery with a win this Saturday.
Boro still has a concern in the attacking department. They are the lowest-scoring side in the top 10. Which is something Wilder will want to address as soon as possible.

Scott Parker’s Bournemouth has dropped off since game week 15. They had an inspired start to the season as they went 15 unbeaten to begin their season. But they have failed to win their last five games.
Bournemouth still holds the 2nd spot on the league table thanks to their start to the season which gave them some room for error. After 15 games they were top of the table and 5 points off the 2nd placed Fulham.
Now, Fulham has snatched the top spot and is 2 points clear of Parker’s side. 3rd placed West Bromwich Albion have also capitalized on their slip-up and have closed the gap to just 3 points.
Bournemouth desperately needs three points to take some pressure off themselves.

Middlesbrough 1-2 Bournemouth
Most people will favor Middlesbrough over Bournemouth with both their forms in mind. But Bournemouth have some players coming back into the first team. It is about time Bournemouth get back to winning ways.
The Cherries have a very good squad on paper which can beat any Championship side on their day. Scott Parker will have to make sure they turn up for this game.
Football is quite unpredictable. And this will be a tight affair. Nevertheless, Middlesbrough has the capability to hold Bournemouth to a draw. It will not be a surprise if Boro manages to even win the game.
