The fans criticized Arteta’s failure to secure silverware and questioned his transfer strategies, particularly the lack of a natural striker. Keown acknowledged the need for a dedicated striker but emphasized the progress made under Arteta, urging patience among supporters.

So, Arsenal executives have publicly questioned the club’s transfer policies. Critics point to the signing of Raheem Sterling on loan from Chelsea which was not up to the mark. Sterling has failed to score in 12 Premier League appearances, leading to doubts about the decision-making process behind his signing.
