Do Arsenal need a defender right now?
Arsenal have been facing a bit of issues with their attacking while keeping their defence intact. Calafiori, Zinchenko etc, have been suffering from injuries lately. Arsenal have been very great and they are looking forward to improving their squad even more by signing players who are experienced and can definitely keep the defence intact. Their attacking have been very dynamic but at the same time, they have been conceding a lot of goals as well and they want to change that.
Mikel Arteta wants Jules Koundé :
Mikel Arteta is looking forward to sign Jules Koundé from Barcelona. They are expecting to sign him for a fee of €75 million which is his actual value. The Gunners squad is really great and after the arrival of Mikel Arteta, it improved even more. Arteta have been getting a lot of backing from the management whenever he wants to sign more players or players with high profile as well. The Gunners fans are saying that they should not really sign Jules Koundé and save that for a striker instead. A good striker will score a lot of goals and make them finally win the Premier League as well. However, Arsenal’s striker issues should be Arteta’s main focus at the moment.
Author’s opinion:
I think the fans are correct because Arsenal have been struggling a lot because of their striker issues. The German international Kai Havertz have not been good for Arsenal at all. He is scoring very less goals for them. The Gunners should sign an experienced striker to replace him in the club. At the same time, I do not really think Barcelona will let go of Jules Koundé either.
