Real Madrid have been keeping tabs on Mohamed Salah’s situation at Liverpool. Reportedly Mohamed Salah has asked for a £500,000 a week contract to stay at Anfield.

Mohamed Salah currently earns £200,000 a week. Meanwhile, Liverpool are trying to tie down some of their best players. Virgil Van Djik, Andy Robertson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Alisson Becker all have signed a new contract at Liverpool.

Mohamed Salah has only two years left on his contract. Liverpool are keen to tie him down with a new contract. Since joining Liverpool in 2017 from Roma Salah has been a vital player for The Reds. Moreover, Salah’s numbers speak for himself. If the contract negotiations do not go well Salah could end up joining Real Madrid. Also, Paris Saint-Germain are in the race for the winger.

The Egyptian star has scored 127 goals and provided 49 assists in 206 games for Liverpool. Since his debut for Liverpool, he has been their best player. He was a vital part of Liverpool’s recent Champions League and Premier League success.

Moreover, Real Madrid have had a long-held interest in Mohamed Salah. Real Madrid have big plans for next summer as they are planning a massive rebuild. It’s almost certain that Kylian Mbappe wants to move to Santiago Bernabeu. Since PSG did not respond to Madrid’s £200 million offer despite Mbappe entering the final year of his contract. The French star could move to Spain as a free agent next summer.

Also, Erling Haaland is another one of Real Madrid’s targets. Since he is available for £75 million Madrid will certainly consider moving for hum. Another player on Real Madrid’s wishlist is Leicester City midfielder  Youri Tielemans. As Pogba enters the final year of his contract Manchester United are also in the race for the Belgian. Leicester City values him around £60 million.
