An Indian reunion took place in New Zealand as former Indian players meet their coach John Wright. Wright surprised the former players as he visited them in the hotel lobby.

Kaif’s Post

“Look who we met in New Zealand. Warm, wise and humble Mr John Wright. We recalled old days, shared life updates and pulled his leg. Coach time to sell your 20-year-old car now,”

Kaif wrote on his handle while sharing the pictures of them meeting Wright.
John Wright coached India from 2000 to 2005. Under his mentorship, India reached the finals of the 50-over World Cup and also the iconic 2002 series win in England.
We saw the rise of Dravid, Ganguly, Laxman, Kaif, and Zaheer Khan when John was the coach of the national side. Now 17 years later, his wards are having started another new career.
Zaheer Khan and Kaif are now media pundits and work as commentators and media experts for a broadcasting channel.
On the other hand, VVS Laxman is the coach of India A and Bhatule is the bowling coach mentoring the side in absence of the head coach Rahul Dravid.
