Mohammed Shami Tests Negative for Covid 19

Mohammed Shami has been out for India’s T20I series against South Africa. And the BCCI confirmed today that Shami won’t play in the T20I series against South Africa since the bowler hasn’t fully recovered.
Mohammed Shami, an Indian bowler, has received a negative result for COVID-19 ahead of the first T20 International versus South Africa.
The Indian fast bowler posted the COVID-19 test report with the caption “Negative” on his official Instagram feed.

The BCCI confirmed earlier today that Mohammed Shami was out. He was rested from India’s T20I series against South Africa. Shami has not fully recovered, according to BCCI, and will not play in the T20I series against South Africa.

For the South Africa T20I series, which gets underway on September 28th, Umesh Yadav, who had taken Shami’s position for the Australia series, has done so once more. The Indian team for the Proteas series now includes Shreyas Iyer, Shahbaz Ahmed, and Arshdeep Singh in addition to Umesh. However, this series does not feature Deepak Hooda, Hardik Pandya, or Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Hooda was sent to the NCA for injury, and ruled out. Pandya and Kumar, though, have taken a break and have reported to the NCA for work pertaining to conditioning. Arshdeep Singh have reinstated for the Proteas series after missing the Australian series.

Hence India will play against South Africa and they will try to battle hard. And they will try to fight back and win the game. As India will look to fight and crush South Africa ahead of World Cup.

Previously Shami tested Covid Positive ahead of the Australia series and now, he tested negative and will return to the team soon.

AS India is all set to play the T20 World cup. With the full squad so that they can fight back and will win the game. The return of each player in the squad will be very much important to compete.
