Moises Caicedo stars as Chelsea earn a point against Manchester United

Moises Caicedo and Robert Sanchez were at the center of attention as Chelsea managed to scrape-off a point against Manchester United. The game was very evenly contested right until the end. The two clubs ended sharing the points after the game ended in a 1-1 draw in the game week 10 of the Premier League. First half would be a goalless one. Although both the teams managed to hit the post. The Red Devils would finally take the lead in the second half. But the away team would respond swiftly, equalizing under the next 5 minutes. As a result, Chelsea are now 5th and Manchester United are 13th in the league table.

Moises Caicedo on fire…

The 23-year-old midfielder was looking good throughout the game. He would show his control in midfield once again. At the same time, he was very effective in breaking the attacks of the home team. Moises Caicedo would provide the equalizer for Chelsea. The 23-year-old would score a sumptuous volley from a poor clearance off a corner kick. At the same time, he would make a crucial interception in the dying stages of the game. He would become the Man of the Match for his performance. Also, goal would give him the highest for the game, an 8/10 rating.

Robert Sanchez continues to struggle

There were some positives for Chelsea against Manchester United. But there were areas for concern too. One such is the goalkeeping department. Keeper Robert Sanchez did the basic duties alright. But he would go on to concede a penalty due to poor-decision making. He would bring down Rasmus Hojlund in the box. As a result, the home team would get a penalty. Then, Bruno Fernandes would convert from the spot. If not for Moises Caicedo and his heroics, Chelsea would have lost the game. So we can expect Chelsea’s ongoing search for a quality goalkeeper to continue.
