Chelsea did not deliver the greatest of performances against Manchester United. It ended up being a day to forget for the Blues. They did manage to earn a point. Although, with their squad quality, they were capable of doing so much more. Especially given the fact that the Red Devils are far from their best. At the same time, they had interim manager Ruud van Nistelrooy with them. Nonetheless, there still was a source of relief for Enzo Maresca. Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia managed to stand out. The midfield duo did a great job in the center of the field.
Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia should start together
The midfield duo were on fire for the away side. They managed to create a lot of turnovers and dictate the tempo of the game. At the same time, their understanding and chemistry on the pitch was quite evident. They would help Chelsea dominate possession against Manchester United. As it stands, Romeo Lavia and Moises Caicedo would be at the center of building attacks for the away side. The two would also put a solid display of defensive acumen. Without them, the Blues would have definitely lost the game.
