Brighton and Hove Albion’s Moises Caicedo has shared a goodbye post on Instagram, leaving fans confused about his future
Caicedo received an offer from Arsenal and Chelsea, while Liverpool have also been linked.
However, Liverpool now seems disinterested and won’t be signing the player. The report suggests that the Reds have now left the race.
Transfer Expert, Fabrizio Romano stated that-
“ Moises Caicedo didn’t turn up for training today— he wants to leave the club immediately.”
He further stated that-
“Caicedo could also miss tomorrow’s game as he sent clear message to Brighton after public statement: he wants top club move”.
The Ecuadorian player might join one of Liverpool’s rivals Chelsea or Arsenal, but as of now, this is positive news for the Reds.

Now as Caicedo missing, Liverpool have a great chance of winning their FA Cup match against Brighton on Sunday. His absence will be felt by Seagulls.
Injuries and lack of depth made Liverpool struggle this season. FA Cup gives them a chance to rotate their squad, and it will be much easier to rotate in the midfield if Caicedo isn’t on the pitch.
However, Jurgen Klopp is not pleased about cup matches being played at the weekend amid his side’s tight schedule He stated that
“We’re not famous for going long in the cups apart from last year. Cups are always difficult when you have midweek games because you have to keep an eye on it and now we have a full week to prepare the game. In our tight schedule, I am not sure FA Cup should have a weekend matchday but we have it.”
“We deal with it. It’s good to prepare but it makes things more difficult. We still have two games in hand – someone has to fit it in somewhere. No news about that yet. No clue when that will happen. The further we go in cup competitions the more complicated it will be. It’s not a problem for now.”
Liverpool have a much better chance of winning on Sunday.
