Mudryk speaks about his tenure at Chelsea and his future goals

In his debut English interview at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk pledged to deliver even better performances. Since joining in January 2023 from Shakhtar Donetsk, Mudryk has faced challenges adjusting to the Premier League. Throughout his inaugural full season in England, the 23-year-old managed six goals and two assists.

Despite his last Premier League goal dating back to early March in the 3-2 win against Newcastle United, Mudryk remains undeterred by his challenging beginning with the Blues. He has assured supporters of his commitment.

What did Mudryk say regarding his situation at Chelsea?

Mudryk stated:  “I don’t reach my full potential because of some of the reasons. I need some time and there is a lot of stuff to improve.”

“We will see in the future, my potential will increase. I am doing good, but I can be better. Everything is good, London is a nice city and Chelsea are a big club. Thank you to all my teammates and the people around me they help me a lot to help me feel myself in good conditions.”

On Sunday afternoon, Mudryk returns to play as Chelsea hosts West Ham United in the Premier League. A win for Chelsea against David Moyes’ team would strengthen their position in the Europa League qualification race. They could leapfrog Manchester United, who play Crystal Palace on Monday night. Qualifying for the European stage should be Chelsea’s utmost priority at the moment.
